Greater Community Bank Showed Their Support

Greater Community Bank proudly showed their support at the Jerry Speziale Community Foundation by participating at the walk-a-thon held on Oct. 14. The walk promoted the well-being and support of our youth and seniors of Passaic County. Greater Community Bank was the corporate sponsor; Jane Kasten and Paula McKowen, both employees of the Bank were part of the planning committee and attended several committee meetings. In addition to other company sponsors, the total amount raised was over $15,000; all proceeds went to the foundation.

Volunteers of the Bank were Monica Vanegas, Branch Manager of Hackensack, Miriam Estevez, Assistant Head Teller, and Paula McKowen, Branch Manager of Totowa branch on Union Boulevard. Vanegas, Estevez, and McKowen distributed GCB balloons, Frisbees, and volunteered support for the event by running the registration table and selling the food sales tickets to the attendees of the walk. “Although this was our first walk-a-thon sponsor, we are very excited to be such a big contributor to this event and look forward to doing bigger and better contributions in the future,” said Paula McKowen.
