OF WELL-KNOWN AND EXPERIENCED COMMERCIAL LENDERS

Spearheading expansion of the Bank’s lending operations is Patricia D. Arnold, Executive Vice President & Chief Lending Officer who is joined by a well-known and highly skilled group of lenders that expand upon GCB’s existing, excellent & highly-regarded lenders.

Prior to joining Greater Community Bank earlier this year, Mrs. Arnold was Executive Vice President & Chief Lending Officer of a well known local bank. She brings with her more than 23 years of progressive commercial credit, lending and leadership experience. A resident of Wyckoff, Mrs. Arnold is a member of the Board of Governors of the Risk Management Association and holds an MBA in Finance from Farleigh Dickinson University. She is well-known throughout the Northern New Jersey business community.

Joining Mrs. Arnold in dual roles of portfolio management and new business development are Senior Vice Presidents James M. Trouwborst, and Kurt Breitenstein, each bringing more than 20 years of experience in the field. Also joining GCB in the role of Community Loan Officer/Small Business Banker is Christopher Canlas.

 Jim Trouwborst is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking and the National Commercial Lending Graduate School. Mr. Trouwborst is a well-known commercial lending officer in the area and, prior to joining GCB, held such prominent positions as Senior Commercial Loan Officer and Commercial Lending Team Leader. A resident of Oakland, Mr. Trouwborst joined GCB based on his desire to make an impact on the community with a focus on personal customer service.

 Kurt Breitenstein carries an MBA in Finance from Long Island University. Prior to joining GCB, Kurt served in various commercial credit and lending roles at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company, Midlantic National Bank and Sovereign Bank, and was most recently Commercial Lending Department Manager and Commercial Lending Team Leader at Interchange Bank for 10 years. A resident of Dumont, Mr. Breitenstein joined GCB based on the bank’s management philosophy, which focuses on being creative and responsive to customer needs.

 Chris Canlas is a graduate of Binghamton University. A native of Rockland County, New York and a resident of Tenafly, Mr. Canlas’s experience includes serving as a Commercial Mortgage Consultant and most recently as a Community Lender.
