Valley National Bank is in merger discussions with Greater Community Bank. Valley anticipates the closing of the merger will occur late in the third quarter of 2008, contingent upon receiving regulatory approvals, approval by the Greater Community shareholders and other customary closing conditions.

Adherence to operational policies and procedures of the branch office; opens and closes accounts, cross sells services and loans.
